Amy is a friendly and approachable primary and secondary tutor, with a passion for Geography and for the success of her tutees!
She aims to create a relaxed atmosphere for each lesson, but one equally focused on success. Amy creates a positive learning environment for her students and tailors her tutoring style to meet the needs of each individual child.
Amy was previously Head of Geography at a top London Prep School. She now tutors full time and has experience teaching across all year groups from primary up to A Level.
As a qualified Edexcel Geography examiner, Amy has an in-depth understanding of the Geography curriculum and its demands, enabling her to directly tailor her lessons to the requirements of the examinations. Her tutoring focus lies in building excellent subject knowledge, combined with an understanding of exam technique (where necessary) and the skills required. She also has a wealth of experience with revision and study skills for A Level and GCSEs.
Amy tutors Primary, GCSE Geography, A Level Geography and IB Geography along with 11+ English.
