Jessica K

Jessica is a kind and knowledgeable education professional with seventeen years of experience in leading independent schools. She has most recently worked at Charterhouse School as Head of Politics. Jessica is an experienced teacher and pastoral leader and has thousands of hours of one-on-one teaching, coaching, applications mentoring and family support to draw on.

Jessica believes her greatest strengths as a tutor is her ability to engage with a pupil and family properly, never taking a one size fits all approach. She is particularly adept at identifying learning styles and tailoring her teaching to what works best for her pupils, taking a responsive and interactive approach that creates a positive and joyful environment.

Jessica is a very experienced school and university entrance tutor, and has tutored many pupils through Common Entrance, Scholarship and Oxbridge entry. In this past year a pupil she tutored intensively through the HAT and Oxbridge entrance has gained a place to read History at St Edmund Hall, and over the Easter break Jessica tutored a boy from Summer Fields, seeking to improve his English marks for Harrow entrance. His father emailed yesterday to say the pupil had recently scored an high A on a past paper, a three grade shift upwards following tuition.

In her spare time Jessica loves reading, walking her dogs, and swimming in lakes.
