Roland tutors A Level Religious Studies, GCSE English Language and Literature and KS3 History.
After graduating from Durham University with a BA in Theology, Roland has had a varied teaching career spanning over 31 years. He was most recently a teacher at Berkhamsted School where he taught students Religion and Philosophy from ages 11 to 18. He was in charge of Religious Ethics component of CIE Pre-U Diploma in Philosophy and Theology and supervised the Sixth Form Extended Project Qualification students.
In his spare time Roland enjoys singing bass in a chamber choir. He also volunteers as an intercessor and preacher at his local church.
Roland enjoys teaching and has a good rapport with his students. He is thorough in preparation and marking and inventive in methodology. He taught Religious Studies A Level highly successfully through the years I have known him.
