Calm in the Storm – for students aged 12-14 (entering Years 8-9)

In this workshop, students will explore how the strange and unnerving events in the world at the moment can sometimes be navigated and understood through the medium of writing.

We will be exploring, across genres, how through writing we can start to emerge from a period of instability and re-imagine a more hopeful and positive world.

This workshop is an opportunity for participants to talk about their own experiences and hopes for the future, as well as a chance to produce some creative writing they can feel proud of.

Time: 2pm – 4pm

Location: Watling Tutors Classroom, Unit 21D Battlers Green Farm, Common Lane, Radlett WD7 8PH.
