Get Ahead! A-level Taster Workshops: Philosophy and Ethics

Join us for a two hour session focusing on the content and expectations of the A-level course, with a focus on good note-taking for Philosophy and Ethics.

We will be looking at some of the theories of key philosophers, such as Immanuel Kant, and will be focusing on examining ethical principles and applying them to topical issues such as globalisation.

The workshop will be run by Tanya Charlton, one of our Religion, Philosophy and Ethics tutors. Tanya is the Head of Religion, Philosophy and Ethics at a leading school in Hertfordshire, and has a long and illustrious teaching career. We’re delighted to have her on the team.

Date: Friday 27th August

Time: 12pm – 2pm

Location: Watling Tutors Classroom, Unit 21D Battlers Green Farm, Common Lane, Radlett WD7 8PH

The cost of this 2 hour session is £72.

At the moment, we are only working on a maximum capacity of 8 students owing to our commitment to being Covid secure. This is subject to change, depending on government guidance, but we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
