Since graduating with a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Hertfordshire in 2017, Alexander has taught pupils from Key Stage 3 up to A-Level in local secondary schools. In his first teaching role, Alexander held senior leadership responsibility and was Head of Year 8 and, more recently, he started a new role as Key Stage 4 Coordinator of Mathematics in his current school. Alexander also has experience teaching Economics up to Key Stage 4 and he has a passion for maths and economics, which he wants to pass on to his pupils.
In his previous roles as a classroom teacher, Alexander has created a positive atmosphere for learning that encourages productivity among his students. He likes to bring fun, creativity and innovation to his teaching, with the aim of enhancing students’ progress. One of Alexander’s referees explained how he is a “dedicated and committed teacher” while another highlighted Alexander’s ability to “engage well with pupils of all abilities and build excellent relationships with both other adults and children”.
Alexander gave my daughter so much more confidence to do well in her GCSE maths. Would definitely recommend him!
