With a PGCE in Secondary English from the University of Nottingham, Andrea has worked as a qualified English teacher for the last four years. She was recently rated as an ‘outstanding’ teacher in a local secondary school, where she taught children at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level. Andrea also has experience working with SEN students and she works as an Intervention Consultant, teaching young people 1:1 and in small groups to help them develop confidence and a love for learning.
Andrea has worked with children of all ages and offers a creative and tailored approach to teaching. Referees say she is a “hard worker” and an “excellent practitioner” who is “dedicated” to her role and an “integral” team player. A current client says she is “really good” while another praised her exceptional subject knowledge.
