Ciara is a highly experienced secondary school teacher, who specialises in History and Politics. She has experience delivering modules from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 and she also mentors trainee teachers at the Institute of Education. Ciara is a school leader at her current school and is Head of Politics and Student Voice. Additionally, Ciara runs professional development sessions at the British Library and she has experience presenting research at academic history conferences.
Ciara has experience working with SEN pupils as well as gifted and talented children. She has taken on extra professional roles at previous schools, where she set up and ran several extracurricular clubs. Ciara is particularly skilled at using technology whilst teaching and uses these skills to help her students make progress. One former client explained how Ciara helped her child to become ‘much more confident in history’ before taking their GCSE exams.
