After completing her PGCE in primary education at the Institute of Education in 2004, Gaynor has worked in several primary schools across London and she has also tutored primary aged pupils on a one to one basis since 2005. Throughout her career, Gaynor has also held additional and senior roles in a variety of schools, including Key Stage 1 Phase Leader and science subject leader. As a result, Gaynor has experience in leading staff to improve teaching and learning outcomes for her phase group. She also has experience supporting children with preparation for the 11+ exams.
Due to her long-standing career in primary education, Gaynor has an excellent understanding of student development across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. She likes to bring her experience and knowledge into her sessions by making them engaging and inspiring. Former clients have been extremely positive about Gaynor’s tutoring sessions, with one parent explaining how she ‘is reliable, organised and trustworthy.
