Lucy has been teaching Latin, Classics and Ancient History at Secondary school level for 10 years and she has been an A-Level examiner for four years. She graduated with a Masters in Education Studies in 2011 from the University of Birmingham, specialising in special education and inclusive education. Since receiving her PGCE in 2008, Lucy has taught in a range of schools on the outskirts of London and she has experience preparing pupils for entrance exams, including the Common Entrance and Westminster Challenge.
Lucy has a passion for ancient history, whilst studying for her undergraduate degree in Classics at Cambridge University she ran her own Latin department and encouraged others to take up the language. Referees and testimonials note how Lucy has ‘a clear passion and knowledge’ of Classic as well as an ‘enthusiastic approach’ to her teaching.
