Luke is a secondary history teacher with seven years of experience working in education. He teaches both history and politics to GCSE and A-Level students. In addition to these subjects, Luke also taught Religious Studies and Geography in a secondary school when studying for his teaching degree. After completing his PGCE in secondary history in 2013, Luke started tutoring -a job he finds extremely rewarding. Luke has worked in UK schools and abroad, in both the state selective and independent sectors.
Luke is a popular tutor with both pupils and adults, who praise his work ethic, subject knowledge and engagement. One parent explained how Luke made his lessons ‘funny, exciting and entertaining so learning is easy’. Younger pupils say he brings history alive ‘like the programme “horrible histories”, while older students say “estimonials include: “He gave me a newfound confidence in my A-levels” and “Amazing!! So lovely and a great tutor.”
Luke is extremely helpful and professional during my daughter’s revision sessions in GCSE history, which builds up her confidence.
