Marissa is a qualified primary school teacher, who teaches maths, English and 11+ exam preparation. After achieving her BA in Childcare, Culture and Education from Birmingham University, Marissa went on to study for her PGCE at the Institute of Education in 2016. Since then, she has taught in various schools around London and developed particular strength in teaching children with SEN and additional needs. Marissa has taken on additional responsibilities in her four-year teaching career, such as PSHE, Geography and Design Technology coordinator.
Marissa has a proven track record of helping children to excel beyond their academic potential. She is dedicated, hardworking and a former employer referred to Marissa as ‘a great member of staff working with children’ while a current colleague praised her ‘strength in working with SEN children.’
She is excellent at teaching Maths and English to my son. He is much more confident and understands more difficult topics.
