Since completing her Primary PGCE qualification in 1996, Nicole has taught in various primary schools throughout a 23-year career in education. As a result, she has an in-depth knowledge of the entire primary curriculum and she has taught all subjects at Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. In addition to her roles as a classroom teacher, Nicole was a deputy headteacher at one former school, where she was responsible for improving teaching and learning outcomes for pupils. She has also worked as a Lower Key Stage 2 leader and a science subject coordinator, helping her to recognise the standards children can achieve at the end of each year group.
Nicole recently started tutoring and she is passionate about making a difference for her pupil’s education. She is very patient and has an enthusiastic approach to teaching which helps to build positive relationships with all of her students. One former referee explained how Nicole is ‘‘hard-working, dedicated and extremely well organised’, while another former colleague praised Nicole’s ‘ability to engage a range of pupils’.
