20 years of teaching
After completing a degree in Mathematics from the University of St Andrews in 2002, Paul began tutoring and has since taught many people, ranging from GCSE and A-Level pupils to Oxford graduates and RAF pilots. In 2020, Paul completed a second degree in Engineering from the Open University and he is now working towards a Masters in Space science. Due to his background as a student, Paul likes to teach the understanding of maths, leading to his students developing a lifelong appreciation of the subject.
In addition to his career as a private tutor, Paul volunteers for a local charity that delivers blood, medical equipment and COVID-19 tests to hospitals via motorcycle and he likes to support his local community. Former clients are extremely positive about Paul’s role as a tutor, with one parent commenting on his ‘excellent knowledge of his subjects’ and ability to ‘create engaging’ lessons.
