Richard is an experienced English Literature and Language tutor, who teaches students from primary school to undergraduate level. He has supported students with exam preparation and has experience preparing pupils for various exam boards including AQA, OCR and Edexcel. Since achieving his PGCE in Secondary English in 2017, Richard has planned lessons to high standards, he is currently Assistant Curriculum Leader and Whole School Literacy Lead. Furthermore, he has developed an understanding of pedagogy and child development in his role as an English teacher at a local secondary school.
Richard has a passion for English and he enjoys leading his tutoring sessions with all pupils. He is knowledgeable and attentive to his pupils’ needs and addresses these throughout his lessons. A parent praised Richard as an ‘excellent’ tutor while another client said Richard is ‘very enthusiastic and shows great knowledge with the English GCSE curriculum.’
