Watling Tutors has developed a unique and exciting workshop for students making the transition to Year 7 in September 2021.
Spread over two afternoons at the end of August, this is a workshop which will encourage students to communicate more effectively with others, develop their ability to think critically, build cohesive arguments, and improve their delivery, listening and response skills.
Our aim is to build confidence, motivation and enthusiasm as students embark on what can be an exciting, yet apprehensive time.
While students are welcome to come with friends, we would encourage that students also come if they don’t know anyone. This will be an opportunity to make friends in a safe, supportive but intellectually stimulating environment.
Dates: Thursday 26th August / Friday 27th August 2021
Time: 2.30pm – 4pm (both days)
Location: Watling Tutors Classroom, Unit 21D Battlers Green Farm, Common Lane, Radlett WD7 8PH.
Cost: £72
At the moment, we are only working on a maximum capacity of 10 students owing to our commitment to being Covid secure. This is subject to change, depending on government guidance, but we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
