Amy received her teaching qualification in 2007 following a BA Hons in Humanities. She has since been teaching for over 14 years and is Head of Department for Religious Studies and Sociology at an Outstanding school. She currently teaches AQA Religious Studies and specialises in Christianity and Buddhism. She has taught the EDEXCEL and OCR Specifications in the past and has also been an examiner for the last 6 years. As well as teaching, Amy is the author of a book called ‘Supporting Staff Mental Health in your school’ and regularly writes for educational journals. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching for her work on mental health in schools.
