After completing degrees in Childcare and Education Studies at the University of Wolverhampton, Esther has worked in a range of primary schools. Having taught in different schools in Essex, Hertfordshire, and Suffolk during a 20-year career, Esther has extensive experience working with primary school children. She is a KS2 specialist but also has experience working with children in reception and KS1. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Esther has worked as an NQT mentor for trainee teachers, worked as a subject coordinator, and was acting headteacher for a term at a previous school.
Outside of teaching, Esther enjoys the outdoors with her family. Esther especially enjoys camping in the local area and she is also a keen swimmer, and previously represented a local swimming club. She also likes jogging, cooking, and baking. Referees and testimonials note how Esther has ‘ a positive and kind nature’ and she ‘develops excellent relationships’ with children and parents.
