Shelly has been a qualified teacher for over 25 years, holding several roles within the education system, such as a Biology Teacher, Head of Year 8, and Sixth Form tutor, so has experience working with children of various ages for different purposes, from general teaching responsibilities to coordinating assessments and academic progress. After completing a BSc in Food Technology and Management, Shelly went on to gain a PGCE in Science and Technology from King’s College London.
Having worked with Special Educational Needs students, parents have noted that Shelly “responds well” to her students, due to her patience and understanding which helps her develop rapport with her pupils. Also, she “delivers the material in varied ways” which keeps lessons exciting and students engaged, resulting in the best outcome possible.
