After completing his Postgraduate Certificate in Education from London Metropolitan University, London, in 2018, Stuart has taught biology and chemistry to GCSE and A-Level students in different schools and colleges in North London Hertfordshire. Stuart has mainly taught towards the AQA exam board and he has developed a large portfolio of teaching materials to support secondary school pupils to develop their knowledge in the sciences. In his most recent teaching role, Stuart developed an interactive marking system, which helps to provide students with clear and live responses to help answer different exam questions.
During his teaching career, Stuart has taught many students from a variety of backgrounds and has provided pastoral care to pupils in addition to teaching science. He also has experience liaising with parents to provide tailored feedback and support for those falling behind with their grades. Referees and testimonials note how Stuart demonstrates a “strong knowledge of the entire science curriculum” and his “high expectations” of himself and his pupils.
