After completing a degree in English, History and French from the University of Hertfordshire in 2002, Usha started training for her Secondary English PGCE in 2004. Once she gained QTS from the University of Hertfordshire in 2005, Usha worked in various secondary schools as an English teacher and she also worked as an examiner for the AQA exam board. In 2011, Usha started to work as a private tutor and she supports GCSE and A-Level students with exam preparation in English Literature and English Language.
Usha takes pride in building strong relationships with her pupils and he likes to gain trust whilst working one to one with students. She also uses his experience as a former examiner to plan individualised sessions around past paper questions. In addition to her teaching work, Usha has a passion for writing and she wants to complete her own novel in the future. Due to her long-standing career in education, Usha has a good reputation with one testimonial noting how she ‘always strives to bring out the best in each child she tutors and aims to enhance their knowledge as much as possible.’
